It's Not All Online! With so many collections located online, it is easy to lose track of the valuable genealogical collections that are still found in research institutions and record repositories. What records will you find and how do you locate them? What types of institutions hold materials that will help us draw out more stories in our family history?
Lori Bessler, Reference Librarian at the Wisconsin Historical Society Library, will present three hours on how to locate collections that are not found online. This workshop will include instruction on WorldCat.org, the Internet Archive, ArchiveGrid, and many more catalogs. This preconference will be presented VIRTUALLY the day before the WSGS Fall Seminar. Attendees will receive an electronic handout via download from the GoToWebinar software once you log in that day. It will NOT be sent separately before the preconference.
This event will be recorded and available for viewing for 30 days after the end of the seminar. If you cannot attend the live presentations, you can view them later at your convenience. Thank you to our speaker for this wonderful opportunity!
